Juan Carlos Pichardo is hospitalized for a diagnosis of severe bilateral pneumonia

Santo Domingo, RD - Actor and comedian Juan Carlos Pichardo shared a statement on his social media, informing his followers that he has been admitted to a health center as a result of a diagnosis of severe bilateral pneumonia. In the publication, Pichardo explained that he has been hospitalized since yesterday, so he will not be able to fulfill the commitments scheduled for this weekend, within the framework of the celebration of Valentine's Day.

“Important announcement. Read and then comment. My dear people, I want to tell you sincerely that since yesterday I have been hospitalized due to severe bilateral pneumonia. For this reason, I will unfortunately not be able to join you at the show on February 14th. It hurts me not to be there, but right now the most important thing is to recover 100%,” he expressed in his statement. In a more reflective tone, Pichardo took the opportunity to send a message to his community, about the importance of listening to our bodies and how sometimes life puts tests like these in the way to force us to stop, assuring that, although these situations seem difficult, they are nothing more than lessons.

"Sometimes life reminds us that the body also needs a break, that it often screams at us to stop, and we must learn to listen to it."

Finally, Pichardo thanked for the support and the displays of affection, followed by sending a message to his fanbase in the United States, urging them to remain calm, because if God and his doctor allow it, he will begin his tour on American soil on Wednesday, February 18th.
