Julián Gil takes the stage in 2026 with Somos Familia, a new production by TelevisaUnivision, by joining the cast of the new proposal by producer Ignacio Sada, whose premiere is scheduled for Las Estrellas and ViX in the second quarter of the year. In Somos Familia Julián will give life to Mario Nolivos, the antagonistic character within the family and emotional framework of the story. The telenovela narrates the life of Verónica Arellano, a woman who, being very young, gives birth to a girl, but her parents force her to give her up for adoption. Marked by that fact, Verónica becomes a journalist with the determination to investigate her past and find her daughter, detonating a plot full of unexpected links, family secrets, and decisions that will transform the lives of all the characters. The cast of the production is made up of Oka Giner, Mane de la Parra, David Zepeda, Irina Baeva, Alexis Ayala, Leticia Perdigón, Alejandro Ávila, Yolanda Ventura, Alfredo Gatica, Andrés Vázquez, Pierre Angelo, Mimi Morales, Ariana Saavedra, Jaime Maqueo, Paola Hasany, Andreé Graham, Karla Galván, Natalia Álvarez and Lizy Martínez, among others.
