Moreno, widely known for his participation in successful series such as “El Capo”, “El último matrimonio feliz”, and “La venganza de Analía”, revealed in an interview with De Último Minuto that this film is very special to him. He explained that he accepted the leading role just 30 minutes after receiving the script. "Yes, it was an immediate yes. In fact, my agent was surprised. She sent it to me and within half an hour I said: 'I like it, let's do it.' Also, I found out that they wrote it with me in mind. Apparently, I was the first person they thought of, and that's cool," Moreno expressed. Regarding his experience working with Dominicans involved in the production, he highlighted the human and professional quality of the team, expressing that sharing with Dominicans and achieving a beautiful partnership is not so difficult due to the passion and human quality characteristic of their culture.

“With you it is not difficult to establish a relationship. It is very easy; you are very dear people, and Tito, Evelyna and Danilo are no exception. In addition, they are passionate about what they do, and there I fall at their feet, because my passion is acting, making movies, series… and there one falls,” he shared in conversation with the communicator Lady Álvarez.

The actor added that it was an honor that they thought of him for a character of such complexity, both emotionally and mentally. In the film, Marlon plays Benjamin, a man willing to do anything to save his marriage, which is going through a crisis after years of failed attempts to conceive a child. "Couples, generally, when they reach a certain time of cohabitation, the love begins to fade, and sometimes it is very difficult to rekindle that fire. In this story Benjamin is willing to do the impossible to have his wife with him," he said, adding that interpreting this character was a challenge due to the demands it brought with it.
"Cucú", scheduled to premiere on October 16th in all Dominican Republic cinemas, is a psychological thriller that explores the marital crisis of a couple of artists who, after years of unsuccessfully trying to conceive a child, see their relationship crumble. The unexpected arrival of a mysterious local further destabilizes their fragile bond, while the story oscillates between reality and the possible fantasies of one of the protagonists, questioning the true motives behind their breakup.
