Martha Heredia manages to hold her baby after nine days in the hospital

Santiago.- Dominican artist Martha Heredia informed through her social media that, after nine days of being admitted to a health center, she was finally able to hold her baby. The announcement was accompanied by an emotional video in which she is seen holding him for the first time since his birth.

“I loaded him. After 9 days, I was finally able to load my baby. Thanks to God, the medical team and the prayers of all of you, he is improving and we continue to await the miracle,” Heredia wrote next to the video shared on his social media.

The newborn, who arrived in the world prematurely, remains admitted to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The singer had previously announced that the baby underwent minor surgery for the placement of a catheter in the lung. Heredia did not offer more details about the baby's current health condition, but assured that he continues under medical supervision and in the process of recovery. The artist first thanked God, followed by the support received from the public since she announced the premature birth of her child.
