Merlis Camilo releases his new single “Mil Años Luz”

This is a more intimate and mature reinterpretation of love that persists even at a distance SANTO DOMINGO. – Singer-songwriter Merlis Camilo presents “Mil Años Luz (Reimagined)”, a new single that redefines one of her most emotive compositions, taking it to a deeper, more honest and introspective space. With lyrics by its author and music together with Adriano Sang who also serves as producer, "Mil Años Luz (Reimagined)" moves within alternative pop with influences of ballad and rock, building an intimate atmosphere where the voice and emotion are protagonists.

This new version arises as part of Merlis' artistic evolution, from a different vital stage, marked by introspection, motherhood, and a more mature view of love, relationships, and personal identity. The theme retains its essence, but deepens its emotional charge, taking it to a more honest and intimate territory.

"Thousand Light Years is a song that comes back to me from another place. Today I feel it different, deeper, more honest. It's a song about distance, but also about the connection that remains, even when it seems far away," expressed Merlis Camilo. Likewise, Merlis is immersed in the creation and composition of her next record project, consolidating an artistic stage that is more intimate, powerful, and consistent with her personal and creative evolution. She continues to promote her EP “Ego y Amor” and recently participated in the “Summerfest” in Santiago, reaffirming her presence on stage and before her audience. "Mil Años Luz (Reimagined)" is now available on all digital platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, and Deezer, along with its official video on their YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/@MerlisCamilo.
