Mexican couple experiences Dominican Carnival for the first time and supports the Dominican Republic in the World Baseball Classic

A Mexican couple from Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico, expressed to De Último Minuto their excitement about visiting the Dominican Republic for the first time and being able to witness the national carnival parade. The couple explained that, upon researching the country's tourist attractions and beaches, they discovered that a national carnival parade is celebrated, so they planned their vacation to coincide with this event and live the experience. In conversation with De Último Minuto, the tourists said they felt amazed and astonished by the national carnival parade, publicly expressing their admiration for Dominican traditions. “First time in the Dominican Republic enjoying this wonderful carnival, which is the most beautiful handmade craft, we are surprised that they put their heart and soul into this, everyone enduring the weight of their costumes, we admire everything,” said one of the interviewees.

The same visitor confessed that she had told her husband that the plan was to travel during carnival season to be able to witness it in person. "We arrived yesterday precisely to see them and we do not regret it, it has been a great experience," she added, highlighting the planning they did to coincide with the event. For his part, his partner assured that, although they have only been in the Dominican Republic for a few hours and do not yet know the country in detail, the carnival experience raised their expectations about all the things they could discover in the Caribbean country.
