In early February, Pedro Capó presented the premiere of the music video for “Vivo” live from the Coliseo de Puerto Rico, a new version of one of the most significant and beloved songs in his repertoire, recorded during his concert at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico in February 2025.

Originally released in 2015 as part of the Aquila album, the song was written several years earlier, at a personal moment of introspection for the artist, after a retreat in the mountains of New York. Since its release, “Vivo” has remained one of the most recognized compositions in Capó’s repertoire and marked an important point in his career, by being part of his first nomination for Song of the Year at the 2015 Latin Grammy Awards. Over time, the theme became one of the most beloved in their live performances and one of the songs with the greatest connection with the public. Its lyrics address love from an intimate and spiritual perspective, which has contributed to its adoption by many listeners for personal moments and important celebrations such as, for example, the first wedding dance. The recording from the Coliseo de Puerto Rico captures one of the most significant moments of the concert, highlighting the artist’s performance with his band and the audience’s response that packed the Choli. The premiere is part of a series of live releases that document this stage of his career and the direct relationship he maintains with his audience. This release continues the path recently started with the premiere of the official video for “Divina”, recorded during the same performance at the Coliseo. Both premieres come as a year has passed since the release of La Carretera, an album that was included in Rolling Stone’s list of the 50 Best Albums of 2025, and whose main single was also among the 50 Best Songs of the year. In conjunction with the release of this album, the artist is working on new music and preparing to continue their US tour in 2026.
