Los Angeles.- Dominican-born singer Prince Royce expressed his concern about the current situation of immigrants in the United States, stating that Latinos "are living a very difficult time."
His statements came amid protests in cities like Los Angeles, New York, and Chicago, following raids and the increase in immigration measures imposed by President Donald Trump.

Royce lamented the recent events, underlining that the United States is a country that "has been built mostly by immigrants" and expressed his support for the affected families, especially those he described as innocent. “We are here to support them, to pray for those families”, said Royce, during the launch of his new album Eterno. The interpreter of hits like Darte un beso and Carita de inocente also called on artists to use social media to make these problems visible, and asked citizens to seek reliable information about their rights.
