Ryan Castro and Kapo release the video for their global hit "LA VILLA"

Miami, FL. - Ryan Castro, the king of dancehall and one of the most influential Colombian artists in the urban genre, kicks off 2026 with the premiere of the official video for “La Villa”, his explosive collaboration with Kapo. The visual arrives while the song continues its accelerated rise on streaming platforms, entering the Spotify Global Chart and reaching #1 in key markets, consolidating “La Villa” as one of the most viral Latin anthems of the moment. "La Villa" marks the second collaboration between Ryan Castro and Kapo, following their previous release, "Donde". The song takes its name from La Villa, the nickname Ryan gave to his estate located on the outskirts of Medellín, the same place where the song was born and where the official video was filmed. The visual brings to life the relaxed and sunny vibe of a pool party at La Villa.

The theme has become a viral force on TikTok, generating over 1 million user creations using the audio of "La Villa." Its global impact continues to rise after entering Spotify's Global Chart, reaching #1 in Spotify Colombia, Costa Rica, Honduras, and Panama, and #1 in Apple Music Colombia, while positioning itself in the Top 10 and Top 20 in key territories of Latin America and Spain including Ecuador (#6), Nicaragua (#8), Peru (#12), Argentina (#22), Bolivia (#24), El Salvador (#26), Venezuela (#21), Spain (#32), and Guatemala (#35), among others. The dancehall anthem is part of Ryan Castro's most recent album, Hopi Sendé, released in October 2025, which followed his second album Sendé. Both projects, along with “La Villa,” highlight Castro's Caribbean essence, inspired by the dancehall and reggae sounds that marked his artistic formation during his time living in Curacao. By the end of 2025, Ryan Castro concluded the first stage of his Sendé World Tour, bringing Sendé and Hopi Sendé to explosive and completely sold-out shows in Europe, the Caribbean, and the United States. Now, in 2026, Castro is preparing for the biggest concert of his career: his only show in Colombia this year, scheduled for April 25, 2026, at the iconic Atanasio Girardot Stadium in Medellín. The venue, with a capacity for 45,000 people, sold out in just two hours, marking a historic milestone for the Colombian star with global reach.

Ryan Castro, known as "El Cantante del Ghetto", is a Colombian artist who has become the definition of overcoming. Raised in the Pedregal neighborhood of Medellín, he started singing on buses.
