Rio de Janeiro.- Shakira will offer a free concert on May 2nd in Copacabana, the most famous beach in Rio de Janeiro, in which, as happened with Madonna in 2024 and Lady Gaga in 2025, the attendance of at least a million people is expected.

The interpreter of 'Waka Waka' and 'Pies descalzos' was on a list of possible attractions for the annual free concert in Rio that included world idols like Justin Bieber, Britney Spears and U2. This will be the third time the Colombian will perform for the Brazilian public. Shakira offered a concert in Brazil in 1997, when she was not yet so well known, and returned to the country last year, as part of her 'Las mujeres ya no lloran' tour, with stops in Rio and São Paulo.
