“That happened to her because of God's thing”, says Masha about her friend's death

Santo Domingo.- Urban singer Ashley Mariel Victoriano Sánchez, artistically known as “Masha”, gave statements about the death of her friend Dominic Natalia Gómez Cabrera, 22 years old, which occurred in the midst of an armed incident that remains under investigation.

The artist assured that the young woman was her best friend and that she had been living with her for some time, after leaving her family home. “She lived with me, she went with me everywhere every day,” she expressed, visibly affected.

Masha reported that at the time of the incident there were several people present and that Dominique was the only one affected. "I don't know why it happened, there were five of us and only she was affected by the shot," she stated, while asking citizens to avoid negative comments on social media. "You don't know how things happened," she added. The interpreter maintained that she tried to help her friend immediately and take her to a health center. She stated that, in the midst of despair, she fainted when she was trying to get her out of the place without receiving help. "When I woke up I was already in the police bus, but I never left my friend," she declared.
