Cheddy García lashes out at Sergio Vargas for appearing on La Casa de Alofoke. He reaffirms his stance against Santiago Matías.
Santo Domingo, RD.- Comedienne and actress Cheddy García publicly questioned merengue singer Sergio Vargas after he performed with his orchestra on the reality show of businessman Santiago Matías, known as the Casa de Alofoke.
García, who has expressed his disagreement with Matías on several occasions, used his social media to express his discontent with the artist's participation in the presentation held last Tuesday, August 26.

"I asked a merengue singer very dear to me, 'Why did you fold, and are you hanging out with people who aren't mine?'", García wrote in a post on his Instagram account. The producer also stated that she maintains loyalty with those who share her principles, and that she does not tolerate closeness with people she considers traitors. "I don't bend, buddy. I am faithful to the faithful and I can't stand traitors near me. Roll hard," she expressed. Cheddy García questioned the need for Vargas' participation in the event, arguing that he is not a figure who needs that kind of exposure because he is a millionaire. “You don't need that ridiculousness. Roll that you travel… But little!”, he added. In another message directed at the merengue singer, the actress questioned that the motivation was economic. "Not all money is taken. You are a millionaire, palomo. That's why I don't answer your calls. Get lost!", she concluded. So far, neither Sergio Vargas nor Santiago Matías have publicly responded to Cheddy's accusations. However, the comment has generated various reactions on social media, divided between those who support García and those who support the artist's decision; many question that the comedian has made these statements public.
