The concert Grace For The World, held this Saturday in the Vatican, closed with a gesture that moved those present: the face of Pope Francis was projected in the sky in the middle of an aerial spectacle of 3,500 drones.
The performance coincided with the interpretation of Amazing Grace by the Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli and the American rapper Jelly Roll, a duo that represented cultural diversity and the power of music as a vehicle for unity among peoples.

The tribute was part of the closing of the third World Meeting on Human Fraternity, an initiative inspired by the encyclical
Fratelli Tutti of 2020, in which Francis proposed a call for peace, solidarity and universal fraternity.
The evening was co-directed by Bocelli and American singer-songwriter Pharrell Williams, who managed to bring together an international cast that included John Legend, French-Beninese singer Angélique Kidjo, and Thai rapper BamBam, reinforcing the global character of the show.
Although the current pontiff, Leo XIV, did not attend the concert, he sent a message to the participants in which he emphasized the urgency of rejecting war and betting on peace. “The world is marked by conflicts and divisions, and you are united in a strong and brave ‘no’ to war and ‘yes’ to fraternity,” he expressed.
