Tehran.- Iran's Ministry of Health spokesman, Hossein Kermanpour, confirmed this Sunday that the death toll from the Israeli attacks that have been taking place since Friday reaches 224 people, in addition to registering more than a thousand injured.
Kermanpour published the figures in an X message, where he also reported that a total of 1,481 people have been hospitalized as a result of the bombings, including the deceased. That means that at least 1,257 people have been injured and have had to receive medical treatment in hospital centers. "Long live the country's healthcare workers who tirelessly fulfill their service", he added. In addition, five car bombs exploded this Sunday in Tehran, reported the state agency IRNA. The Israeli offensive on Iran began last Friday at dawn and has since destroyed important military, energy, and nuclear infrastructure of the Persian country, in addition to having killed members of the Iranian military leadership and scientists who led Tehran's uranium enrichment projects. Iran, for its part, has already launched eight waves of attacks on Israel and has caused the death of 13 people.
