Los Ángeles (EE.UU.),.- The ABC network announced this Wednesday that it will remove "indefinitely" from its programming the popular late-night show of Jimmy Kimmel due to the comments made by the presenter about Charlie Kirk, the conservative activist murdered last September 10th.
The announcement comes after Nexstar Media, a company that owns a huge network of channels across the United States associated with the major networks, announced that it would not air the program due to the aforementioned comments.

"The MAGA gang desperately tried to label this guy (Tyler Robinson) who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything but one of them and to do everything possible to get political mileage," Kimmel said on Monday night.
"Nexstar strongly objects to the recent comments made by Mr. Kimmel about the assassination of Charlie Kirk and will replace the program with other programming in its ABC-affiliated markets," the company noted.
The comedian mocked the impact that Kirk's death had on the US president, Donald Trump, and aired a clip recorded last week where a journalist asks the president how he was dealing with the assassination and he replies "I think very well" and goes directly to make comments about the construction of the new White House ballroom.
Kimmel, born November 13, 1967, in New York, hosts Jimmy Kimmel Live! on ABC since 2003, a late-night show that regularly leads in audience among entertainment shows and has gone viral for its interviews and sketches.
Before, he worked in local radio and television, where he developed his satirical style. He has participated as an actor and producer, and has received Emmy awards for his work in television comedy.
