Maduro speaks of "psychological terrorism" due to US actions in the Caribbean

The president of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, denounced to the world that Venezuelans have faced for 22 weeks "an aggression" of the strongest in its history by the U.S. that can be described "as psychological terrorism".

"We have had 22 weeks of an aggression that can be described as psychological terrorism. It's 22 weeks that have tested us and the people of Venezuela have tested their love for the homeland", Maduro expressed during the public act of swearing in of the Integral Bolivarian Community Commands, held in the center of Caracas, the capital of the country.

The Venezuelan leader highlighted that in recent months, the Venezuelan people have demonstrated their resilience and gallantry. "If 22 weeks ago we loved Venezuela, today we love it infinitely and we are willing to continue defending it and leading it to safe paths of peace," Maduro said.
