Asunción.- Argentine President Javier
Milei, stated this Tuesday in Paraguay that Israel is the basis of Western culture and capitalism and for that reason, according to him, it is attacked from the left.
"Capitalism is built on the foundations of Judeo-Christian values, and that's why they attack people of faith, and that's also why they attack Israel with so much violence, because deep down Israel is the bastion of the West because it is the basis of Western culture," Milei said at a forum for young entrepreneurs in Asunción.
During the meeting, organized by the Paraguayan Young Industrial Union (UIP Joven), with the support of the National Youth Secretariat (SND), he questioned "social justice" and said that it is an issue they will have to deal with.
"There is nothing more abhorrent and unjust than social justice," the right-wing leader pointed out.
What is social justice? It is theft plus inequality before the law," he remarked, then indicated that, in his opinion, this means "stealing" the property of some to "give" to others.
The leader pointed out that the search for social justice is also related to a system where there is "envy" and "resentment" with the help of the State.
Before participating in the entrepreneurs' forum, Milei was at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), which brings together right-wing leaders from the region, and then held a meeting with his Paraguayan counterpart, Santiago Peña, who at that event also defended his government's alliance with Israel.
