Caracas, Venezuela. A team of more than 15 volunteer psychologists launched a free emotional care initiative to provide support to people affected by the recent earthquake that shook several regions of Venezuela, leaving material damage and numerous displaced families.
The platform, called “Estamos Contigo Venezuela“, was promoted by the businesswoman, author, and CEO of EV Financial, Eddy Vera, with the purpose of offering confidential psychological support to those facing the emotional aftermath caused by the disaster.

According to the organizers, anyone in Venezuela can access the service through a simple process that consists of completing a form, being contacted by one of the volunteer professionals, and starting a process of emotional support that will be maintained for as long as necessary.
The initiative seeks to address situations such as anxiety, fear of aftershocks, insomnia, panic attacks, post-traumatic stress, and other psychological effects that often occur after seismic events and which, in many cases, receive less attention than the reconstruction of infrastructure.
As part of the project, Eddy Vera announced that he will donate two dollars for every copy sold of his book “Tengo mejores planes para ti”, with the goal of contributing to the expansion of the free psychological support network in the country.
When presenting the initiative, Vera expressed that the consequences of an earthquake go beyond material damage and highlighted the importance of also addressing the emotional wounds of those affected.
The platform aims to ensure that no person impacted by the earthquake faces the recovery process alone, promoting mental health as an essential component within the reconstruction of the affected communities.
Eddy Vera is the author of the book “I Have Better Plans for You”, an international speaker, and a mentor in leadership and personal transformation. Additionally, she hosts the podcast “A Thousand Reasons to Be Happy”, where she addresses topics related to resilience, faith, and life purpose.
