During the night of Monday to Tuesday, the Russian Armed Forces launched a group attack against the temporary deployment points of a special operations detachment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and foreign mercenaries from the 'Prizrak' unit of the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported.

From the organization, they specified that the operation was carried out "in response to the terrorist attack against civilian targets in the town of Foros, in the Republic of Crimea, which left fatalities and injuries among civilians."

The Ministry indicated that the Russian response attack targeted Ukrainian and mercenary formations that "carried out the preparation and execution of this terrorist attack" against civilians in Crimea; these units were deployed near the towns of Tatarbunary and Rasseika, in the province of Odessa.

In addition, the Russian group attack destroyed drone storage facilities at an airfield in the same province, from where the unmanned vehicles were launched to attack civilian infrastructure on the Russian peninsula.

"Also, the workshops of the Motor Sich company, belonging to the Ukrainian military-industrial complex, where the attack drones used by the criminal Kiev regime in attacks against Russian territory were assembled, were attacked," concluded the Russian Defense Ministry.

On September 21st, the Kiev regime perpetrated a drone attack against the Foros sanatorium in Crimea, which caused the death of three civilians and left 16 injured of varying severity. The Russian Ministry of Defense called the action a "deliberate terrorist act against civilian targets", stating that the attack by unmanned aerial vehicles of the Kiev regime was carried out in a tourist area where there are no military installations. Commenting on the situation, the spokeswoman for the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova, called it "another terrorist act by the Kiev regime".

"NATO and the EU, which are looking for the origin of the aggression on the European continent, should look in the mirror and see it. They are the ones who are driving destabilization and the spread of terrorism in Europe, sponsoring the Kiev regime and supplying it with weapons," Zakharova stated.
