Venezuela's largest airline, Conviasa, has received the necessary authorizations to operate direct routes between Venezuela and St. Petersburg, the Russian Ministry of Transport reported after a meeting of the heads of the portfolios of both countries.
"Conviasa has received authorization to operate flights to St. Petersburg in the next season, which will open new opportunities for tourism and business cooperation between our countries," indicates the official statement.
It should be noted that the airline currently maintains two air connections with the Russian capital, Moscow: a regular flight every two weeks and a charter service every ten days.
