Washington.- The FBI is investigating an incident at a shopping center in Boulder, Colorado, as a “terrorist attack”, according to the agency’s director, Kash Patel.
“We are aware of a deliberate terrorist attack (…) our agents and local law enforcement are already on the scene,” Patel wrote on his X platform account.
Authorities responded to emergency calls in the Pearl Street area of Boulder, a university town west of Denver, around 13:00 local time (19:00 GMT) this Sunday.You may be interested in: Sánchez says there is no conclusive data linking the blackout to a terrorist attack
Several of the injured were participating in a peaceful protest in favor of Israel.
The Anti-Defamation League (ADL), an organization dedicated to combating “anti-Semitism” and promoting pro-Israel policies, confirmed on its X account that the attack took place during an event of the “Jewish community” to call for the release of the hostages still held by Hamas.
