The Red Crescent confirms more than 200 deaths in Iran in the attacks by Israel and the US.

The attacks by Israel and the United States this Saturday against Iran have caused at least 201 deaths and 747 injuries, according to a spokesperson for the Red Crescent confirmed to the official Iranian agency ISNA. The president of the Iranian Red Crescent, Pir Hossein Kolivand, assured that until 8:45 p.m. local time (5:15 p.m. GMT) they have been able to confirm 201 deaths and 747 injuries and that the attacks have affected 24 of the country’s 31 provinces. According to the data, 24 of the 31 provinces of the country have been attacked and the organization “is on alert” with more than 220 operational teams throughout the country for relief operations.

This is a preliminary assessment of the scope of the attacks, as the Iranian government has not yet provided an official figure for casualties from the bombings. The Israeli Army prepared for “many weeks” the operation against Iran launched this Saturday, and it will last the “necessary” time, according to an armed forces official in a press conference.
