The U.S. Army has sunk more than 30 Iranian ships during its massive attacks against the Persian country, affirmed this Thursday Brad Cooper, commander of the U.S. Central Command (Centcom).
"Attacks against the Iranian Navy have intensified. You may have heard the president [of the U.S., Donald Trump] say a moment ago that we have sunk or destroyed 24 ships. That was true at the time. Now it's more than 30 ships," he declared.

"And in the last few hours we attacked an Iranian aircraft carrier, approximately the size of a World War II aircraft carrier. And as we speak, it's on fire," Cooper assured.
Trump's Ultimatum
Previously, the US president issued an ultimatum to the Iranian military, stating that they only have two options in their conflict with Washington and Tel Aviv: lay down their arms or die. "Once again, I ask all members of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, the Army and the Police, to lay down their arms," Trump said. "They will have the opportunity, after all these years, to recover their country. Accept immunity. We will give you immunity," he assured. "So you will be perfectly safe, with total immunity, or you will face an absolutely guaranteed death, and I don't want to see that," Trump stated.Aggression against Iran
- Israel and United States launched a joint attack against Iran on the morning of Saturday, February 28, with the stated objective of "eliminating the threats" of the Islamic Republic.
- The attacks claimed the life of the supreme leader of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, and several high-ranking military officials of the nation.
- In response, Tehran launched several waves of ballistic missiles towards Israel, as well as against bases of the United States located in Middle Eastern countries.
- So far, the number of fatalities in the Persian country due to the military aggression of the US and Israel has exceeded 1,200 people.
