The US would have seized a mansion in the DR, two planes and even a horse farm from Nicolás Maduro

WASHINGTON. – U.S. Attorney General Pamela Bondi reported this Wednesday that U.S. authorities have seized assets valued at more than 700 million dollars allegedly linked to Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro, whom she described as the “leader of a criminal society” in Venezuela.

In an interview with Fox News, Bondi compared the operations attributed to the president to those of the mafia and detailed that among the seized assets are two luxury jets, several residences, including a mansion in the Dominican Republic and multimillion-dollar properties in Florida, a horse farm, nine vehicles, jewelry, and cash.

The official recalled that last week the reward for the capture of Maduro was increased to 50 million dollars, a figure that represents the highest offered in the history of American justice. According to Bondi, the Venezuelan leader is accused of being the alleged leader of the so-called “Cartel de los Soles”, an organization dedicated to drug trafficking that, according to Washington investigations, would have the support of high-ranking military officials in his country.
