Washington.- The President of the United States, Donald Trump, will give a speech before the Israeli parliament (knéset) and will attend the implementation ceremony of the Gaza peace plan during his trip to the region, according to the White House.
The leader will leave this afternoon from Washington on his way to Tel Aviv and plans to visit the Israeli parliament and meet with the families of the Hamas hostages on Monday morning.
In the afternoon, he will set off for Sharm el-Sheikh, in Egypt, where he will participate in the ceremony in which the implementation agreement of the peace plan will be signed.
Trump and Egyptian President, Adbel Fattah El-Sisi, will preside over the historic summit, to which Arab, European and Asian countries are also invited, according to the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Badr Abdelaty.
The Republican announced the peace agreement between Israel and Hamas last Wednesday, after weeks of negotiations largely mediated by his Administration.

The agreement contemplates the release of hostages, the partial withdrawal of Israeli troops from Gaza, and the opening of humanitarian channels for the supply of food and medicine, marking a temporary ceasefire in the region after two years of violence.
