MONACO.– Dominican Olympic champion Marileidy Paulino will return to the track this Friday with the goal of securing her third consecutive victory in the Diamond League and taking the lead in the circuit during the Herculis EBS Meeting, which will be held at the Stade Louis II in Monaco.

The 400-meter dash event is scheduled for 2:04 PM (Dominican time) and represents a new opportunity for the sprinter to continue consolidating the extraordinary level she has shown throughout the season.
Paulino arrives at the event as the world leader in the 400 meters in 2026 thanks to her time of 48.48 seconds, a mark achieved at the Paris stop, where she also set a new track record and climbed to third place in the Diamond League points ranking.

In Monaco, the Dominican athlete will also attempt to break the Louis II Stadium record, which belongs to Bahamian Shaunae Miller-Uibo, while seeking to displace the Czech Lurdes Gloria Manuel, the current circuit leader.
The event will once again bring together several of the world’s best specialists, including Manuel herself, the Cuban Roxana Gómez, and the Dutch Lieke Klaver, rivals whom Paulino surpassed in the Paris competition.
The Dominican sprinter arrives as one of the top favorites to win the race and take another firm step toward conquering the Diamond League title this season.
