Collective outrage over Juan Soto’s exclusion from the 2025 All-Star Game
Santo Domingo.- The exclusion of Dominican Juan Soto in the Major League All-Star Game 2025 has sparked a wave of outrage among fans and analysts, who do not understand how a player with his performance was left out of the Mid-Season Classic.
Soto, gardener for the New York Mets, presents outstanding numbers this year: 21 home runs, 51 RBIs, an impressive OBP of .396 and an OPS of .904, figures that place him among the offensive leaders of the National League. In addition, he was recently awarded as Player of the Month for June, after starring in a remarkable offensive rebound that compensated for his slow start in April.
Even so, neither the public votes nor the consideration of the technical body were enough to give him a place on the roster, not even as a reserve.
