During a press conference at the Quisqueya Juan Marichal Stadium, where the Dominican team will face Detroit on the 3rd and 4th, Tatis Jr. was asked about his future with the Estrellas Orientales, an organization with which he has been historically linked. "About the Stars, I don't know, I don't know the future. I deny nothing, I affirm nothing," expressed the gardener, who made it clear that there is no decision made regarding his permanence with the green team. However, the Major League player reiterated his attachment to Dominican winter baseball, highlighting the importance it has had in his professional development. "Winter ball has always been a part of me, a key part of my career and something I plan to continue doing in the future," he affirmed. When directly questioned about which team he could play with, Tatis Jr. responded frankly: “I don't know, I think I'm also a free agent in about a year, so there's nothing more to say.” Regarding his participation with the national team, the star player showed enthusiasm for the atmosphere within the Dominican team and for the opportunity to play before his public. "The harmony that is being created in there is something very beautiful. Playing in front of our Dominican Republic is something the country deserved a long time ago," he stated.
