SAN PEDRO DE MACORÍS. –Jazmín Eileen Rodríguez de Peña was presented as the official godmother of the Estrellas Orientales for the 2025-2026 tournament of the Dominican Republic Professional Baseball League (LIDOM), which will begin on October 15, dedicated to the immortal of Dominican sports and member of the Cooperstown Hall of Fame, Juan Marichal.

The presentation took place this Thursday at the Tetelo Vargas Stadium, during the press conference where details were offered about the participation of the petromacorisano team in the upcoming winter championship.
With just 16 years old, Jazmín Eileen is the daughter of Néstor Julio Rodríguez Mejía and Yasmín Dinorah de Peña Paniagua. She is the second of three sisters and granddaughter of the renowned businessmen Ing. Néstor Rodríguez and Xiomara Mejía, figures highly appreciated in the community of San Pedro de Macorís.
The young godmother is in her fifth year of high school at the Los Pininos School and has studied voice acting, an area that complements her aspiration to become a journalist.
Among her favorite hobbies are reading, embroidery, dancing, and cooking. She is also an enthusiastic fan of the Estrellas Orientales, a team she follows with her entire family, known for their constant support from the stands of the Tetelo Vargas Stadium, where they have season tickets.
