Soto explained that one of Skenes' main strengths is his ability to manage the minds of the batters and constantly vary his strategy on the mound. "He's a very smart pitcher. He likes to play with the minds of the hitters, throw in different zones and make the players move their feet and think a little deeper on each turn," commented the Dominican. The gardener, recognized for his discipline at the plate, also highlighted the aggressiveness with which the American pitcher attacks the hitters, which makes him a complicated rival for any lineup. "One of the things that makes him special is the way he attacks hitters," Soto added.
