After the match played at loanDepot Park in Miami, DeRosa said the game was one of the most memorable he has experienced. "It's a game we'll never forget. The Dominican Republic always had people on base, and that speaks to the danger their lineup represents," said the American manager. DeRosa also acknowledged that the key to victory was the work of his pitchers, who managed to contain one of the most powerful offenses in the tournament. "Without a doubt, to be honest, our pitchers did a really good job. I tip my hat to them for the way they were able to shut down the powerful Dominican Republic lineup," he stated. The leader also highlighted the performance of star pitcher Paul Skenes, whom he described as one of the best pitchers in baseball today. "About De Paul, we can say that he is the best pitcher in the sport. What he did today was a demonstration of talent at the highest level", he pointed out. Finally, DeRosa emphasized that the match between both teams showed the high competitive level of the tournament and the talent present on the international stage. "Today's performance was a display of talent at the highest level," he concluded.
