Among the most outstanding names are the Venezuelan Santiago Solarte, as well as the Dominicans Ronny Muñoz, Carlos de los Santos and the right-handed pitcher Eliezer Peralta.
Solarte, a 17-year-old left-handed shortstop standing 1.95 meters tall, was ranked number 16 in MLB Pipeline's 2026 international prospect ranking, standing out for his offensive and defensive projection in the infield.
For his part, Ronny Muñoz, also 17 years old and a shortstop of 1.78 meters, occupied the number 27 position on the same list, confirming the Marlins' interest in reinforcing their minor league system with premium talent in key positions.
The Miami franchise continues to bet on international development as one of the pillars of its sports structure, seeking to build a solid base of young players with the potential to make an impact in Major League Baseball.
The Marlins will open the 2026 regular season on Friday, March 27, when they host the Colorado Rockies on Opening Day under the lights, at 7:10 PM.
