Ronny Mauricio's home run leaves the Leones stranded and gives the Licey a 6-5 victory

SANTO DOMINGO (Licey.com).— A dramatic home run by Ronny Mauricio in the bottom of the tenth inning left the Leones del Escogido stranded on the field and sealed a 6-5 victory for the Tigres del Licey, on the night of this Sunday at the Quisqueya Juan Marichal Stadium.

With the victory, the Tigers improved their record to 16-20, while the Lions fell to 15-22.

The Lions took the lead early

El Escogido opened the scoring in the first inning against the blue starter Radhamés Liz, when Erik González hit a single, advanced on a passed ball and scored on a single to center field by Sócrates Brito.
