Santo Domingo.-The Venezuelan Professional Baseball League (LVBP) announced this Sunday the suspension of seven players for violating the Anti-Doping Program (PALVBP) during the 2024-2025 season, including Dominican pitchers Cristofer Ogando and Félix Paulino.

In addition to the Dominicans, the list includes Venezuelans Willians Astudillo (Caribes de Anzoátegui), Omar Bencomo Jr. (Tigres de Aragua) and Jhoulys Chacín (Leones del Caracas), as well as American Tyler Alexander (Navegantes del Magallanes) and Cuban Yoanner Negrín (Tigres de Aragua).The sanctions
- Willians Astudillo and Tyler Alexander received sanctions of 20 games.
- Omar Bencomo Jr. and Jhoulys Chacín, repeat offenders, were suspended for 60 games.
- Cristofer Ogando, Félix Paulino and Yoanner Negrín must serve 30 games of suspension.
