Danish, 31 years old, pitched during the summer with the Olmecas de Tabasco in the Mexican Baseball League, where he had a 4-3 record, a 3.53 ERA, and 39 strikeouts in 91.2 innings. In 2024, he also participated with Tabasco, with 13.2 innings of 13 strikeouts, 0.80 WHIP, 1.32 ERA, and a .128 average allowed to the opposition. The Brandon, Florida native has experience in the Major Leagues, having worked with the Chicago White Sox from 2016 to 2018, as well as the Boston Red Sox in 2022. In the "big show" he combined a 5-1 record and 43 strikeouts in 53.1 innings. "The incorporation of Danish comes at a crucial moment for us. His experience and ability to compete in important games gives us a palpable boost, as we seek qualification," declared Peña. "We trust that your presence in the rotation will bring stability and help us continue to compete with determination," added the executive. Danish is already in the country and will be added this Tuesday to the weekly roster of the 17-time national champions.
