Rafael Barias gets his first victory by defeating El Millón 107-100

SANTO DOMINGO, RD.- The Rafael Barias club achieved its first victory this Wednesday at the expense of the El Millón club, with a score of 107-100, in the first game of the day of Las Mercedes National Day in the 49 TBS Distrito 2025.

The Barians tied their record at 1-1, being part of group B, while the millionaires fall to 0-2. The imported Austin Trice led the Barian offense with 18 points; his North American compatriot Jeff Allen had a double-double of 15 points with 12 rebounds and Bryan Ramirez contributed 15 baskets with six assists. They also contributed for El Barias, Eusebio Suero by scoring 14 points and Luis López scored 13.

For El Millón, the Romanense reinforcement Yeison Colome scored 28 points, nine rebounds and four assists, Jesse Zarzuela scored 24 units, Andrés Fulgencio 17 and with 12 digits were Kelvin Jiménez plus seven assists and the reinforcement Michael Watkins closed with double figures of 12 points and 13 rebounds.

The match took place at the Ricardo -Gioriver- Arias Volleyball Pavilion, of the Juan Pablo Duarte Olympic Center, official venue of the capital's sporting event. The TBS District 2025 is organized by the National District Basketball Association (Abadina), chaired by Colonel (PN) Diego Pesqueira, and the Organizing Committee is headed by José Ignacio Paliza, Minister of the Presidency. This year's event is dedicated to the Dominican Sports Immortal Evaristo Pérez, former member of the national basketball team and former player of the San Carlos squad. Friday Games
The TBS District 2925 takes a break this Thursday and will continue this Friday with its fifth date of regular season matches and on this occasion corresponding to group B. At 7:00 PM, El Millón and Bameso clubs will play, and at 9:00 PM, San Lázaro against Rafael Barías.
