San Francisco de Macorís. — The Gigantes de San Francisco announced the signing of versatile American player Lance Thomas, who arrived in the country last Saturday and will join the team’s training this Monday with the goal of strengthening the roster for the final stretch of the elimination phase of the 2026 Súper Liga LNB.

He comes from participating in the Basketball Africa League, where he averaged 10.0 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game, in addition to leading the tournament in blocks with 2.8 per game, demonstrating his ability to protect the rim and make a difference on the defensive end.
His great lateral mobility allows him to defend multiple positions, a quality that fits perfectly with the San Francisco Giants’ playing philosophy.
