San Jose and San Francisco Clubs Win at the TBS Higüey 2025

HIGÜEY, LA ALTAGRACIA.- San José and San Francisco clubs won on Friday's game in the second date of the regular season of the 50th Torneo de Baloncesto Superior Altagraciano (TBS Higüey 2025), played in the Leo Tavárez sports complex, of this city.

San José (2-0) achieved its second consecutive victory by defeating the Antonio Guzmán club (0-2) 94-85, in the competition for the Punta Cana Cup, sponsored by the Puntacana Group. The contest is organized by the Basketball Association of La Altagracia Province (ABAPA), presided over by Jorge Tavárez, and has a special dedication to Monsignor Jesús Castro Marte, Bishop of the Diocese of Our Lady of La Altagracia. Imported Antonio Gordon was San José's leading scorer with 32 points and native Luis Peña scored 26 points, seven rebounds and seven assists, and Joan Paniagua 13, and on the other hand, Bryan De la Cruz 41 points, 10 rebounds and six assists, and Jeremy Sarmiento scored nine.
