SANTIAGO.- Cibao FC maintained its dominance and unbeaten record over Jarabacoa in the Dominican Football League (LDF), by winning 2-0, on Sunday evening, a match of day 6, at the stadium of the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra, a tournament dedicated to the memory of José Rafael Abinader.

It was the 18th time that both northern clubs faced each other in the LDF, where the oranges have won 14 and 4 draws.
With the result, Cibao FC added 3 points to reach double digits, 12 in total, the product of 4 victories in 6 matches. Jarabacoa remained with 4 points that it started with.
At minute 32, visitor Saúl Castro stepped hard on Gonzalo Alarcón, who was taken off on a stretcher and replaced by Omar De la Cruz.
The defense of both teams was the protagonist in the first 45 minutes and the first half ended 0-0, without the presence of the goal.

It was the 48th minute when Cibao FC put together a play, Carlos “Caballo” Ventura unleashed a shot that Martiniano Sueldo tried to deflect and the own goal occurred, putting the home team ahead 1-0.
