Baltimore. The NFL and the Baltimore Ravens are in mourning after the confirmation of the death of Arthur Jones, former defensive lineman for the team and champion of Super Bowl XLVII, at the age of 39 years old.
Jones, brother of UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones and also former NFL player Chandler Jones (four-time Pro Bowl selection), left a significant mark on the Baltimore franchise, with which he played between 2010 and 2013.

The Ravens' general manager, Eric DeCosta, announced the news through an official statement:Selected in the fifth round of the NFL Draft, Jones established himself as a starter in Baltimore. During Super Bowl XLVII, which the Ravens won against the San Francisco 49ers, he had a key performance with a catch and the recovery of a fumble, contributing directly to the franchise's last crowning. The causes of his death were not revealed. The NFL team and organization have expressed their condolences to the Jones family during this difficult time“We are terribly saddened to learn of the sudden passing of Arthur Jones.
