Madrid.– FC Barcelona coach, Hansi Flick, will not be able to occupy the blaugrana bench in the Clásico next Sunday against Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabéu stadium, after being sanctioned with a one-match suspension by the Disciplinary Committee of the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF).
For his part, Álex Sancris, Nyom's teammate, received a suspension date after his expulsion for double booking. The Committee also imposed a one-match suspension on Swedish defender Carl Starfelt (Celta de Vigo) for his red card against Real Sociedad, and fined Villarreal CF for minor disturbances of order during their last league match. Finally, the warnings to coaches José Bordalás (Getafe) and Eder Sarabia (Elche) were ratified. With this decision, Barcelona will have to face the most anticipated match of the calendar without their main coach on the bench, in a match that could be key to the club's aspirations in the 2025-2026 season.

The sanction comes after his expulsion in the match against Girona, corresponding to the last day of LaLiga, where the German coach was cautioned on two occasions for protesting refereeing decisions. The Committee dismissed the allegations presented by the Catalan club, which requested to annul the sanction alleging inconsistencies in the referee's report. However, the resolution of the body maintains that Barcelona “did not provide any evidence to disprove the facts reflected in the report”, therefore the penalty is maintained under article 120 of the Disciplinary Code.Other disciplinary sanctions
In addition to Flick, the French-Cameroonian defender Allan Nyom (Getafe) was suspended for two matches for violent conduct in an action with no possibility of playing the ball against Vinicius Jr., also in the match against Real Madrid. For his part, Álex Sancris, Nyom's teammate, received a suspension date after his expulsion for double booking.
