The white team announced that, after the tests carried out by the Medical Services, the diagnosis was determined that will force the English player to start a new recovery process. The injury comes at the best moment for the defender since his arrival at Real Madrid on June 12, when he had managed to string together four consecutive starts. Alexander-Arnold was substituted due to injury in the 54th minute of the match against Athletic Club at San Mamés, thus cutting short his positive streak and reopening a difficult episode in his time at the merengue club.I was coming from overcoming a previous injury
Before this setback, the Englishman had overcome a prolonged injury to the left hamstring, which kept him out from September 16 to October 26. After his return, he was regaining rhythm in training and had minutes at Anfield and Vallecas before the international break. That additional time of work allowed him to reach a level that earned him the trust of Xabi Alonso to start as a starter in four consecutive matches.
However, the new injury will once again slow down his progress.
