Dominican amateur baseball lost one of its great figures with the passing of Juan Germosén, who died on Sunday night at the age of 74 in his hometown of Tamboril, Santiago province. Considered one of the most outstanding players in the history of amateur baseball in the country, Germosén developed a career that earned him the respect and admiration of fans and generation peers. Although he resided in the United States for several years, he decided to return to his homeland some time ago, where he finally found eternal rest. His remains will be veiled at the José Rafael de Tamboril Funeral Home.
