Leonardo Aguilera meets with David Ortiz and Kelvin Cruz; Banreservas reaffirms its commitment to Dominican sports

Santo Domingo.- The executive president of Banco de Reservas, Leonardo Aguilera, held a meeting in his office with former Major League baseball player and Hall of Fame member, David Ortiz, and with the Minister of Sports and Recreation, Kelvin Cruz, with the purpose of strengthening strategic alliances in favor of national sports development. During the meeting, Aguilera highlighted that Banreservas maintains a firm commitment to the promotion of sports in the Dominican Republic, considering it a key engine of social inclusion, personal growth, and promotion of young talent.

"For us, sport is a powerful tool that opens opportunities and fosters the integral development of our youth. We will continue to support initiatives that uplift the name of the country," he expressed.

The Banco de Reservas has established itself as a historical ally of the sports sector, not only through the sponsorship of events and tournaments, but also through its constant support for sports journalism and projects that promote physical activity throughout the national territory.

For Vitelio Mejía, president of the Dominican Baseball League (LIDOM), Banreservas is an exceptional sponsor, "which makes the contribution it has to make and on top of that invests a lot of money in keeping the brand active". "He's the ideal sponsor that any event would want to have," Mejía said in an interview at El Caribe's Weekly Lunch. He recalled that he recently held a meeting with Leonardo Aguilera, the newly appointed executive president of Banreservas, replacing Samuel Pereyra Rojas, in order to keep him informed about the loan requested by the teams.
