The remodeling is part of the project instructed by President Luis Abinader to Minister Kelvin Cruz, which seeks to dignify sports and cultural spaces throughout the country. In that regard, the Ministry of Sports official announced the construction of 30 multipurpose facilities, including the one in Manganagua, with an investment of RD$ 26,194,336.90. In the act, Starling Alcántara, vice mayor of the National District City Hall, and Vinicio Lebrón, president of the club, also spoke, who separately highlighted the importance of the work for Manganagua, while thanking Minister Kelvin Cruz for this initiative in favor of the aforementioned neighborhood. "I am very happy to be here sowing hope, sowing the future, sowing joy and addressing a demand from this neighborhood that had been going on for many years. There were many years of dreaming, many years of hope, but today, thanks to the vision and commitment of President Luis Abinader, which we have assumed in the full extent of the word, this is a reality." The minister assured that "we came to Manganagua to sow an investment of hope and joy for more than 26 million pesos. A multipurpose roof represents joy, it is for birthdays, baptisms, weddings, it is for funerals in moments of pain. We must be aware of the care, maintenance and follow-up that this work requires. This club must be a model, an example for the other sectors." He then stated that "we are not here just to announce groundbreaking; we started working before the first groundbreaking. We came to work, and very soon we will be cutting the ribbon to inaugurate this sports and cultural club of Manganagua." We announce that, only for Greater Santo Domingo, we will build 30 multipurpose roofs at a cost of 800 million pesos. According to the official, with this initiative, President Luis Abinader has taken a big step for the 411, sowing hope, joy, and sports facilities throughout the national geography.
