Santo Domingo.- The Minister of Sports, engineer Kelvin Cruz, led the delivery of a multipurpose roof to the La Javilla academy, located in the Los Mameyes sector, in Santo Domingo Este, this Thursday morning.
With this work, the number delivered to the citizenry in just thirteen months of management totals 27, which represents an average of two infrastructures per month.

"The goal of our management is to fill the country with works, so that our children and young people have decent facilities where they can practice sports and thus keep their bodies and minds healthy," said Cruz, who also announced that ten new multi-purpose facilities will be inaugurated in Santo Domingo Este in the coming days.
For his part, the president of the La Javilla League, Jhon Carmona, thanked the minister for his support, highlighting that the project will benefit not only the hundreds of children who practice baseball in the academy, but also the entire community.
Carmona emphasized that he will continue to elevate his progenitor's legacy through the Vivo Carmona foundation, an institution that promotes sports and social development in the area.
