They launch the campaign “Turn on the Game, Turn on the Street IStayOut”

Santo Domingo, — The general director of El Catador and spokesperson for Fireball Mario Abreu indicated that in the Dominican Republic, baseball is the most popular sport, and the younger generations are demonstrating their love for the game much further than the stadium walls.

Abreu announced that Fireball embraces this cultural change with the slogan "Light Up the Game. Light Up the Street", an initiative that seeks to connect people with the spirit of baseball beyond the experience inside the stadium, honoring both the passion of Dominican tradition and the rebellion of a new generation determined to live the game on their own terms. It states that this generation seeks social experiences, energy, connection, and instant gratification, and that often means taking the celebration to the streets, where they connect with the game through music, movement, and the community that shares their enthusiasm. Abreu states that inside the stadium, 13,000 fans can enjoy the game at the same time, while outside, 1.2 million Dominicans can turn the streets into a massive party. "For every fan inside the stadium, there are almost a hundred outside, ready to 'ignite the game, and ignite the street' along with other passionate people like them. It points out that this generation doesn't wait for the big play: they are the big play. They move faster, think higher and live for that instant hit of energy they find in the streets, the bodegas and the bars, where sport is alive, social and wild," added Abreu. As explained, starting November 19, Fireball will transform the streets of Santo Domingo into the "Rebel Stadium": "The experience will be like entering a large-scale stadium: an environment recreated with stands, DJs, live music, the official band of the stadium, giant screens to follow the game, branded photographic spaces with the iconic Fireball dragon and more. He said there will be giveaways, ice buckets and surprise Fireball moments to keep the energy at its peak. With constant antics between each moment, Estadio Rebelde brings the best of the stadium to the streets.” Abreu adds that fans who would normally watch the game from the Quisqueya Juan Marichal Stadium will now be invited to cross the street and experience it at the Rebelde Stadium, and Fireball will give them a "fiery" reason to do so: they will be offered double the value of their tickets in cash to those willing to exchange their traditional seats for the Fireball experience. "Fireball takes traditions and ignites them in an unexpected and unforgettable way, and that is exactly the energy behind Prende el Juego, Prende la Calle and Estadio Rebelde. This is a party that no one will want to miss. It's baseball reinvented, through an environment designed to keep the city buzzing long after the last out," declared the Fireball spokesperson. He stated that those who wish to follow the development of Prende el Juego, Prende la Calle – #YoMeQuedoAfuera, including the launch of Estadio Rebelde, can do so through @fireball.rd on Instagram. They should also be attentive to hidden coordinates, street clues, and signals distributed throughout the city, as Estadio Rebelde prepares to take to the streets very soon.
