Santo Domingo, D.N.– The National Cooperative of Multiple Services for Teachers (COOPNAMA) celebrated this June 30th the traditional Teacher’s Rejoicing, on the occasion of Teacher’s Day, with the holding of a grand raffle in which two apartments, valued between RD$4 and RD$6 million, and two 2026 Kia Soluto vehicles were awarded to members of the institution, as part of its social balance policy and within the framework of the commemoration of its 55th anniversary.

The activity was led by the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Professor Santiago Portes, who highlighted that this initiative reaffirms COOPNAMA’s commitment to the well-being of its members and constitutes an expression of the cooperative model aimed at generating tangible benefits for the Dominican teaching family.

During his remarks, he thanked El Show del Mediodía and its general producer, Iván Ruiz, for making the national broadcast of the event possible, allowing thousands of associates to witness this significant celebration.

Likewise, he expressed that COOPNAMA continues to honor its institutional mission through actions that strengthen the social and economic well-being of its members, consolidating itself as an entity that works permanently in favor of its associates.

The apartments were awarded to teachers Neris Cuevas Encarnación, from the Southern region, cooperative district 6-10 Salinas, and Félix Nicanor Hiciano Taveras, from the North-Northeast region, cooperative district 2-10. Meanwhile, the 2026 Kia Soluto vehicles were obtained by teachers Erika Lisania Ferrer Romero, from the municipality of Imbert, Puerto Plata province, cooperative district 9-07, and Yildania Báez de Quezada, from the Santo Domingo III region, cooperative district 1-44 Los Mameyes.

The transparency of the process was certified by Dr. Máximo Herasme Ferrera, a public notary of the National District, who attested to the legality and validity of the raffle.

Accompanying the president of COOPNAMA were the general manager, Lucas Figueroa Lapay; the president of the Supervisory Committee, Francisco Santana; and the president of the Credit Committee, José Fabio Durán.

Also present were Octavio del Carmen Bremón, Vice President of COOPNAMA; Alberto Sandoval, Technology Manager; Martín Castillo, Secretary of the Supervisory Council; Francelín Almonte, former President of COOPNAMA; Jorge Alcalá Boyer, Secretary of the Credit Committee; Edgar Carpio, Deputy Technology Manager; Jhonny Sosa, Deputy Services Manager; Wilfredy Severino, Compliance Officer; as well as members of the Board of Directors Manuel Gómez Mella and Domingo Mejía, among other executives and guests.
