Alberto Mottesi, Kittim Silva and Próspero Cuesta will address the challenges of preaching in a postmodern world
Santo Domingo. – Dominican Republic will host the “1st International Preaching Congress XXI Century”, an event that will bring together renowned Christian leaders who will speak on the challenges and difficulties facing the preaching of the gospel today. The congress, organized by the Shekinah International Network of Christian Churches and the Mount Carmel School of Ministries, will be held on Saturday, September 20, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., at the Sambil Auditorium in Santo Domingo. In an exclusive interview for De Último Minuto, the event organizers, led by Apostle Rafael Cruz and pastors Jhovanny González and José Lora, explained that the congress arises as a response to the growing need to strengthen biblical teaching and recover the true meaning of preaching.“We are seeing that many preachers have emerged who seem more like influencers than preachers, and we see that the personal character has been lost. Today, anyone who reads a biblical text considers themselves a pastor, without having a school, without training or supervision, and that is causing a crisis,” warned Pastor González.
