The meeting was led by Ruddy De los Santos, executive president of GALA Media Group, along with Francisco Herasme, project manager, and Gina Almonte, senior advisor, who reaffirmed the group's commitment to creating plural, strategic, and constructive dialogue spaces among emerging leaders in the region.

Political Exchange and Regional Vision
During breakfast, Diego Ibáñez held a direct exchange with congressmen and representatives of different political forces, as well as with directors of media present at the meeting.

The Chilean legislator answered multiple questions from the participants, who were able to learn firsthand about the functioning, organization, and current dynamics of the Chilean political structure, as well as the generational renewal processes that their country has experienced in recent years. In that context, Ibáñez extended a formal invitation to media outlets and Dominican congressmen to visit Chile, with the purpose of continuing to strengthen institutional ties and promote an exchange of experiences in legislative, democratic, and public policy matters.

Youth and leadership: the Chilean model
During his speech, the senator-elect highlighted the political process that Chile has experienced in recent years, emphasizing the leadership of President Gabriel Boric, who emerged from the student struggles and became one of the youngest presidents in the history of his country.

He also highlighted the case of Camila Vallejo, current Minister Secretary General of Government, who was a student leader alongside Boric, a congresswoman, and president of the Federation of Students of the University of Chile. For Ibáñez, her career is a concrete example of the real opportunities that have opened up for young people in Chilean politics. He also emphasized the importance of promoting greater integration of youth into state institutions, including the police forces, as part of a vision of institutional renewal and democratic strengthening.

Acknowledgements and historical links
Within the framework of the meeting, the Chilean legislator thanked the recognition received by GALA Media Group and the members of Amigos que Suman, highlighting the value of these spaces for strategic conversation to strengthen regional cooperation.

During the activity, it was also recalled that Chilean former presidents Michelle Bachelet and Ricardo Lagos received the title of Doctor Honoris Causa from the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo, efforts that were largely driven by Ruddy De los Santos, contributing to the strengthening of academic, diplomatic, and cultural ties between both nations. With this initiative, GALA Media Group and Amigos que Suman reaffirm their commitment to consolidate as a platform for regional dialogue, promoting the exchange of ideas, Latin American integration, and the strengthening of a new generation of leaders committed to democratic development.
